I wrote a paper in my college media/culture class about how the Japanese express themselves though manga and anime and how that conflicts with the stereotypic image outsiders give them of emotionless worker ants. I know this is a lame topic to bring up, but I'm a little curious as to what ideas and examples come to YOUR mind when you think of the subject. The paper's written, but hasn't been turned in yet. If I can slip in something different and beyond my own thinking, it would be that much cooler to me. Jove

Manga, I think, is the best way for the Japaneese to show that they are different, because the other ways they have are kinda misguided. (Like those Dancing youths in the park)
