In the second movie and during the Christmas OAV, Ukyou had her hair up in a ponytail. Personally, I think it makes her look 10 times better.

What do you guys think?
Also, what's your Ryouga preference? Chinese shirt or tank top?

I like ponytails, yeah. ^_^ But then I also like free flowing hair too. Hmm...
Oh, and I like Ryouga's Tunic top more. Looks nicer.

Akane's more the victim of dated fashion than anything else. Nabiki too. But hey! In they were in fashion in the 80s!
My personal Ryouga preference would be tank top. I agree with Ran. Muscles are good. 8)
I think Ukyou looks good with her hair down or up, just as long as she doesn't pull it back like she does when she wears the boy's uniform.
Shampoo (though I don't like her much) is a pretty snazzy dressor too.

I agree, Shampoo is a very snazzy dresser. *Poses Cutely* I like her short Chinese dresses, too. ;D
I also agree that AKane is the worst dresser. Mostly cause she seems to be color bliond, and she always picks these dresses and jumpers that makes her look dumpy. Nabiki isn't that bad..
I think Soun is sometimes the worst male dresser. Have you ever seen his swimsuit and his skiing outfit? It's scary *L* Otherwise, he's okay. ^_^
I like Ranma's clothes, except for that orange shirt and red bow tie he wears sometimes. (Though it looks good in his girl form)

Poor Ranma...he's got to dress for both sexes. That's gotta be kinda hard. Not to mention he's got to get pants that dont' fall off.....
On that note, wouldn't it be funny if Ryouga had a bunch of "public indecenty" infractions down on the police's books? The guy has to get stuck without clothes quite often......heh heh.

I gotta agree with Akane being the worst dresser. At the start of the second movie, all the girls are dressed like goddesses and what is she wearing? A silly looking yellow one-piece. Then, when they have their pick of the palace dresses....ack. What the hell is wrong with her?!  Also, ever notice how the fashion always looks great during the OAVs, even if it would look really odd in real life? It must be the animation quality. Even Akane's odd frilly skirt thing during the "Akane and Her Sisters" episodes looks kinda hot. ;D Of course who pays attention to the girl's outfits when they're suffering from OAV chest syndrome... ;D ;D ;D Kami, I'm a hentai...  |

Yeah, it is kind of interesting that Ranma has to dress for two sexes. I think he has it easier tha it would have been if his real form was a girl that turns into a guy. Then she'd have to wear baggy clkothes all the time, barely any dresses (unless she wants to risk bering caught as a guy in a dress), and shoes that pinch when her feet become bigger. (come to think of it, how DOES Ranma's shoes always seem to fit even in his girlk form?) I agree about the one piece swim suit being kind of dumb on AKane compaired to what the others were wearing, but I didn't mind the dress she picked. It sure beat her wedding dress in the first movie, Oye, she looked like she was a member of Fred Flinstone's Water Buffalos.. I think the naked Ryoga is the best part ;D Jewi >^!^< |

Ah, yes...OAV chest syndrome. The strange occurance of female Ranma 1/2 characters suddenly recieving pronounced, perfectly shaped, nearly twice their normal size breasts. Especially, Akane. Kami bless you, animators... ;D I bet you girls out there hit the pause button on your VCR/DVD just when Ryouga and Mousse rise out of the furo during the Christmas episode. Wow, I'm in a hentai mood tonight. I'll shut up now.  |

Oooooo yeah, I loved the bath scene in the Christmas special. The minute I saw that part the first time, I HAD to rewind and see it again in slow motion. Wheewww... *drool drool* And yes, the OAV Chest syndrome is a widely known fact. They even manage to make Kasumi a sexy she-kitten instead of just cute and sweet. *L* Jewi, thinking of goingand watching the Christmas Special again... > |
